DON is a benevolent international fraternal organization for women who are wives, daughters, mothers, widows, sisters, granddaughters or nieces of Shriners.

Originating in Seattle, Washington, the group was founded in 1913 by 22 women with strength of purpose and vision. Since that time, membership has flourished and today the organization includes 147 Temples throughout the United States and Canada, with more than 58,000 members.

The Supreme Temple, Daughters of the Nile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public corporation which maintains a permanent endowment fund to benefit Shriners Hospitals for ChildrenĀ®. All monetary donations promote, support and maintain the philanthropic endeavors that enhance the medical care and treatment of the patients in the Shriners Hospitals for ChildrenĀ®.
